The entry-level WT trim comes standard with Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian Detection, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, Automatic High-Beams Headlights, and a Rearview Camera. Drivers who choose the LTZ trim get Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Surround-View Parking Camera System, and Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers. The top High Country trim adds Super Cruise adaptive cruise control.

The 2.7-liter turbo engine in a rear-wheel drive truck with a Regular Cab and a Long Bed can tow 9,500 pounds. The 5.3-liter V8 with a Crew Cab or a Double Cab, a Short Bed, and rear-wheel drive can tow a maximum of 11,300 pounds. The 6.2-liter V8 can tow 13,300 pounds with the Standard Bed, Double Cab, and 4x4 configuration.
